The Balaton lake is a popular weekend and holiday destination of most of Hungary and most of the towns and villages are packed nearly all summer. Atlhough it's a lake (and not a see that is actually only a few hours drive south to Croatia), it's still a good hangout place - this advertisement was released last year to support the lake as a tourist destination. Question remains what kind of tourism does the Bord of Tourism of Hungary want.. ;-)
